We have been familiarising and analysing the features of an Explanation text so we will be confident when writing our own Explanation.
This activity enabled us to familiarise ourselves with the ‘Water Cycle’ by using a stimulus to help note down the main stages on our Place Mats. We then used these notes to help sequence a jumbled up Explanation of the ‘Water Cycle’, ensuring we also used the features of an Explanation text to help us.
