Learning through play 15.1.18

This week in our play we ar learning to:

• revisit creating a pattern using different materials, talk about our pattern and record our pattern.
• All aboard the Ligoniel express- think about where we would go on a journey.
• dough: use the tools and dough cutters to make a vehicle. 
• syllables: using the syllable card and counter find out how many syllables there are in each picture.
• I spy- using the transport picture give each other clues to play I spy. 
• explore using ink and the print it creates when using transport stampers.
• painting a vehicle and labelling their picture.
• using the diggers and sand to identify initial sounds.
• finding the correct numicon piece using the space hoppers.
