Our learning in November!

13th Nov 2019

Our new topic is ‘Hey, hey look at me.’ We have been learning about our organs, skeleton and senses. We looked at Picasso’s work and looked at the shapes, colours and patterns. We took a selfie and observed how to print our pictures. We cut the lines and pieced them together to create our own collage. We had lots of laughs at our completed products. We played ‘roll the dice’ to follow instructions to draw our own pictures and we explored the texture of oil pastels.

We have been very busy in our baby clinic making sure all the babies are looked after, played with and cared for. We cannot wait until we bath the babies!

Year 1 have been following instructions to create our Christmas cards and crafts.

In Numeracy and Play we have been learning to sort the 3D shapes using tree and Venn diagrams.

The iPad games are helping us to develop our learning of rhyme, letter formation and number recognition.
