Raiders and Traders

4th Oct 2021

This term our Thematic Unit is all about ‘Raiders and Traders’.

⭐️ We took part in a carousel activity where we used videos, sounds and images to note down ideas on our ‘I see, I think, I wonder’ sheets. 👀

⭐️ We used our ‘I wonder...’ questions and sorted them into ‘quality’ and ‘not quality’ questions to help us direct our learning. 💭

⭐️ Using our previous learning of timelines, we sequenced different eras and matched the correct photos to their eras.  We identified the Viking age on our timelines ⏰

⭐️ One of our ‘I wonder’ questions was ‘I wonder where the Vikings came from?’ so we used our atlases to identify the countries that made up Scandinavia and used puzzle pieces to recreate and label Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
