SUSTRANS

1st Dec 2016

ECO Club had arranged a visit from SUSTRANS to come in and talk to us about the importance of keeping fit and healthy whilst saving our environment by walking, cycling or scooting to school.

Beverly from SUSTRANS, came into Year 6 to look at different ways we children in our country travel to school compared to other children from across the Globe.

The children worked well within their 'Talking Partners' to come up with 'Barriers' that we might face if we wanted to cycle to school and 'Bright Ideas' of how to overcome them.  We then were able to watch some clips showing how other countries overcame these barriers.

It really got us thinking about how our school could be more 'Cycling' friendly!
