Ligoniel Primary School and Nursery Unit, Belfast

Year 4

Welcome to Year 4 2025/2026

Meet our Year 4 Team….

Teacher- Miss K. Devlin

Classroom Assistants – Miss Hagan

We are all so pleased to have the children back with us in school!

They’ve made a super start to the school year, settling quickly back into the new routines, and we have lots of exciting learning to look forward to.

The learning in Y4 is planned around our World Around Us topics, which encourage the children to explore the world in which they live whilst developing, and building upon, their Literacy and Numeracy skills.

Our WAU topics in P4 are Houses and Homes, World War II and A Bug’s Life.

Here in Y4 we take pride in our learning. We are resilient and motivated to try our best. We show kindness in our actions towards others and follow our School Golden Rules.

The Y4 staff are here to support your child both academically and emotionally.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you, or your child, have any concerns or worries about school. You can message us through our Seesaw platform, and we will endeavour to respond to your messages between the hours of 8:45-9am and 3:00-3:30pm.

Make sure to stay tuned to see what the children get up to over the coming year!
