Today in P3 we did a scientific experiment all about germs! We talked about how we can’t see germs and how they spread.
As an experiment we pretended glitter was germs. 5 volunteers put glitter on their hands and then the whole class walked around the room shaking hands with each other. We then came back to the carpet to see if others now had germs! They did!
From this we could see how easily germs can spread. We finished the lesson by all learning how to wash our hands properly. We sang happy birthday to ourselves to know how long to wash for.
